Terminal Thugs In Kebon Jeruk Fall After Badik's Wooden Handle Sticks In His Stomach, Turns Out This Is The Problem

JAKARTA - A man from Palembang with the initials G (40) was arrested by the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Kebon Jeruk Police. Suspect G was arrested after stabbing a thug with the initials F, from Palembang, using a wooden-handled badik at the shadow terminal at the entrance of the Singalaga Toll Road, Jalan Perjuangan, Kebon Jeruk, Tangerang, West Jakarta.

As a result of the badik stab, victim F suffered injuries to his left arm, back, stomach and palms. The victim is critical and undergoing treatment at the hospital.

The Kebon Jeruk Police Chief, Kompol Slamet Riyadi, said the incident was triggered by a trivial matter and then resulted in the suspect being stabbed with a badik against the victim.

The incident began when the victim and suspect were sitting with a female busker at the crime scene (TKP). Then the victim threw dirty words at the woman. The suspect reprimanded the victim.

"Bang, don't be like women," said the police chief imitating the suspect's words.

Apparently the victim was angry with the suspect, both of them were involved in pushing each other. Because the situation was getting hotter, the suspect was emotional.

The suspect pulled out the badik that was on his left waist. Seeing the suspect holding the badik, the victim ran away.

The victim was taken to the hospital for help, then the case was reported to the Kebon Jeruk Police.

"After receiving the report, the suspect was arrested by Buser members at Merak Harbor when he was about to go to his hometown," the police chief told reporters, Thursday, November 11.

The perpetrators along with evidence of a badik with a wooden handle 32cm long were taken to the Kebon Jeruk Police for further processing.
