Ridwan Kamil Brings Good News, The Netherlands Will Invest In Hospital Projects In West Java, Dubai Glancing At Tourism
JAKARTA - The Governor of West Java (Jabar) M Ridwan Kamil brought a number of collaborations resulting from his foreign official trip to the Netherlands, Glasgow and Dubai in early November 2021.
One of them, Dutch investors are interested in investing in hospital projects with the concept of Public Private Partnership.
"For those in the Netherlands, the construction of a hospital. We have discussed it, God willing, it will be accelerated. Because during COVID we lacked hospitals and health centers. The PPP concept is the same as Jasa Sarana. The difference is in Australia, now with the Netherlands," said Ridwan Kamil, in Bandung, quoted by Antara. Between, Thursday, November 11th.
During his visit, he continued, investors from Dubai looked at the outdoor tourism sector in West Java and according to investor analysis, Dubai West Java has a very complete tourist attraction.
"Then there is the extraordinary interest in outdoor tourism that is emerging, for example, glamor camping. West Java, according to investors, Dubai is very complete. There are waterfalls, beaches, mountains, rivers. Now they will come to West Java to conduct a survey," said Kang Emil, greeting Ridwan Kamil.
He said the Galsgow government would also assist West Java in building the Maritime Polytechnic in Patimban, Subang.
According to him, this was done as an effort to prepare human resources to welcome the presence of Patimban Port.
"Then the construction of a maritime university or polytechnic also responds. Don't let us be late, the physical construction is fast, the human resources are behind. I don't want to," he said. He said the big projects targeted by Middle Eastern investors were the Metropolitan Rebana and West Java development projects south which has obtained legal certainty through Presidential Decree No. 87 of 2021 concerning the Acceleration of Development of the Tambourine Area and the Southern Part of West Java.
The Tambourine Triangle area consists of seven cities and regencies, namely Cirebon City, Cirebon Regency, Indramayu Regency, Kuningan Regency, Majalengka Regency, Sumedang Regency and Subang Regency.
From several projects in the Rebana Metropolitan Area, the development of an aerocity covering an area of 3,000 hectares in the Kertajati International Airport area has become a priority.
"So the biggest plan is actually to build Tambourine, because if it is successful there will be 13 new cities. There will be five million jobs providing a 2-3 percent bonus for economic growth. The main thing is that an aerocity will be built soon, there will be 3000 hectares," he said.
Meanwhile, the Head of the West Java Provincial Government and Regional Autonomy Bureau, Dodit Ardian Pancapana, said that his party would immediately coordinate with regional government organizations to follow up on all potential cooperation from the results of overseas visits.
One of them, said Dodit, is a collaboration with the City of Glasgow College to pioneer Maritime Politkenics.
"The MoU with the City of Glasgow College will immediately be followed up with a transfer of knowledge activity with the Education Office," said Dodit.
According to him, the West Java Provincial Government will also hold a meeting with companies from the United Arab Emirates, one of which is Masdar regarding investment plans in aerocity.
"The West Java technical office will hold a meeting to discuss regional development plans and investment flows with Masdar as a potential investor," said Dodit.
