Officially A Suspect, Olivia Nathania Threatened 4 Years In Prison

JAKARTA - Oliva Nathania has officially been named a suspect in a suspected CPNS fraud case. In this case, Olivia faces a maximum sentence of four years in prison.

This prison sentence refers to the alleged article. Where, Olivia was charged with Article 378 of the Criminal Code regarding fraud.

"(The alleged Article) 378 is based on the report to us about the CPNS fraud," said Deputy Director General of the Polda Metro Jaya AKBP Jerry Siagian when confirmed, Thursday, November 11.

Article 378 of the Criminal Code also contains Whoever with the intention of benefiting himself or another person by going against the rights, either by using a false name or false circumstances, either by reason and deceit, or by making up false words, persuades people to give something , make debts or write off receivables, are punished for fraud with a maximum imprisonment of 4 (four) years.

The use of this article on fraud, said Jerry, is because so far only that element has been proven. However, it is possible to use other articles if later other criminal elements are found along with the investigation process.

"Yes, that's right, in the meantime, article 378 (KUHP) investigators can prove it," said Jerry.

Olivia Nathania has been named a suspect in a suspected civil servant fraud case. In fact, Olivia was examined with her status as a suspect.

"Today's summons as a suspect is not a witness anymore. The suspect has been determined," said Olivia's lawyer, Susanti.

However, for now only Olivia has been named a suspect. Although, in this case Olivia's husband was also reported.

"Only Oi is the suspect," said Susanti.

Olivia Nathania and her husband, RN, were reported for a civil servant recruitment fraud case. The report was addressed to the Directorate General of Criminal Investigation of the Polda Metro Jaya.
