The Perpetrator Who Pushed A Man From The 6th Floor Of A Hotel In Semarang To Death Was Annoyed By Being Peeked At The Shower

SEMARANG - The perpetrators and victims of suspected murder who were pushed to fall from one of the rooms on the 6th floor of the Grand Candi Hotel Semarang, Central Java, held an alcoholic drink party at a cafe around the hotel.

"The suspect, victim, and two other friends had a drink at Tipsy Lion," said Semarang Police Chief Kombes Irwan Anwar as quoted by Antara, Wednesday, November 10.

The police have named M Alfreandi (23) a resident of Perum Wana Mukti, Tembalang, Semarang City as a suspect in the death of Christopher Bobby (24), a resident of Graha Estetika Housing, Semarang City.

According to him, the four people held a farewell party after completing special education for the advocate profession from Sunday, November 7 afternoon until evening.

From the suspect's statement, he said, the four people consumed several bottles of alcoholic beverages of various brands.

After finishing, the four then booked a room at the Grand Candi Hotel to rest with the aim of freshening up again.

While in the room, he said, the unfortunate incident occurred.

According to Irwan, the perpetrator was annoyed with the victim who was considered nosy.

"The suspect admitted that the victim had peeked at him twice while taking a shower," he said.

The peak of the perpetrator's frustration, he continued, was when the victim fell on his body while on the bed.

At that time, he said, the perpetrator pushed the victim with his hand towards the bedroom window until the victim's body broke through the glass and fell down.

The perpetrator gave a different statement when questioned by the police, namely that the victim had run from the bathroom to the window.

"After investigating, it turned out that there was a time sequence that did not match the description of the suspect," he said.

For this incident, the suspect was charged with Article 338 of the Criminal Code regarding murder or Article 359 of the Criminal Code regarding negligence that caused someone to die.
