Before The Competition Starts, IBL Will Hold A Match Simulation
JAKARTA - Towards the continuation of the Indonesian Basketball League (IBL) competition next October, league operators will hold match simulations.
According to the President Director of IBL Junas Miradiarsyah in Jakarta, Monday, August 3, before holding the simulation they will also prepare several things, such as the readiness of the match location and the hotel.
"In this pre-simulation we coordinate with several parties such as hotels, the location of the event, the location tracks and we make sure they are well organized," said Junas at the Kemenpora Office, Jakarta, reported by Antara.
"After cooperation with the government in the near future we will conduct a simulation (match) at the end of August," Junas added.
The cooperation in question is the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) between the league manager, Kemenpora and the COVID-19 Handling Task Force. The MoU aims to ensure that simulations, exercises and competitions will run under the supervision of the Health Office.
The MoU will also apply not only to the IBL continuation, but also football competitions, League 1 and League 2.
The IBL 2020 competition has received the green light, both from Kemenpora and BNPB to continue the rest of the season at Mahaka Square Arena Kelapa Gading, North Jakarta, October 13-27 without spectators after being suspended since March due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
