Ridwan Kamil Painting During Quarantine After Returning From Abroad: Busy Rich People Give Me Stress
BANDUNG - West Java Governor M Ridwan Kamil fills his time by painting for three days undergoing quarantine after returning from his service abroad.
"People who are always busy, like me, are given a lot of stress. That's why I paint," he said, as quoted by Antara from a press release from the West Java Provincial Government, Tuesday, November 9.
"3 x 24 hours I paint, resulting in four paintings," he said.
He paints to relieve the boredom of living in the same room during quarantine.
Although bored, Ridwan Kamil said, the provisions regarding quarantine to prevent the transmission of COVID-19 must still be adhered to.
"The point is, let's obey the rules, don't run away. The rules are made so that people are calm," said the Governor, who is usually called Kang Emil.
According to the provisions in the Circular of the Task Force for Handling COVID-19 Number 20 of 2021, international travelers who have received two injections of the COVID-19 vaccine and the results of the PCR test show that they are not infected with COVID-19 must undergo quarantine for three days.
"I have met many people from abroad who may not be clear (free of disease). So I was tested for PCR twice, (when) I landed at the airport and the day before checking out (out) was tested again. So in three days I was tested PCR twice," said Kang Emil.
