Bags Of Methamphetamine Packages Ready To Be Circulated, 2 Women In Majalengka And Bandung Arrested By Police

JABAR - Police in Majalengka, West Java, arrested two female drug dealers of methamphetamine type with evidence of several packages that were ready to be distributed.

"We have secured the two suspected shabu-shabu dealers in two different locations," said Majalengka Police Chief AKBP Edwin Affandi in Majalengka, quoted from Antara, Tuesday, November 9.

Edwin said the case was revealed after his staff arrested a woman with the initials MW who was distributing crystal methamphetamine in the jurisdiction of the Majalengka Police.

From the hands of MW, his party confiscated two packages of methamphetamine ready to be circulated and after interrogation, the suspect admitted that the goods were obtained from someone who was in Bandung.

"To investigators, the suspect admitted that he found the illicit goods purchased from a woman in the Bandung area," he said.

Then, continued Edwin, his party continued to develop the case. After that managed to catch the suspect TR in the Bandung area.

At the time of his arrest, the suspect was found to have seven packs of methamphetamine ready to be distributed to his customers.

"TR admitted to selling methamphetamine to MW and it has been done twice. However, we are still continuing to investigate the case," he said.

In addition to securing the two suspects, the Majalengka Police are still pursuing another suspect whose identity has been known. From the two suspects, his party confiscated nine packs of crystal methamphetamine ready for distribution, including confiscation of cell phones and several other items.

"As a result of his actions, our suspect snared Article 114 paragraph 1 Yo Article 112 paragraph 1 RI Law No. 35 of 2009 concerning Narcotics. With a maximum penalty of 20 years in prison and a maximum fine of Rp. 10 billion," he said.
