KPK Shares Assets To 5 Agencies, There Is Land And Building Owned By Nazaruddin To Anas Urbaningrum
JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has distributed assets looted by corruptors with a value of up to Rp85.1 billion to five government agencies. The assets given consist of land and buildings as well as vehicles.
KPK Deputy for Enforcement and Execution Karyoto said there were five agencies that received the grant, namely the Attorney General's Office, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Religion, the General Elections Commission, and the Yogyakarta City Government.
He said that the Attorney General's Office received a grant in the form of land and buildings in Manggarai, South Jakarta with a value of Rp. 14.34 billion.
This asset belongs to the former convict of the corruption case Muhammad Nazaruddin who was confiscated based on the Corruption Court Decision at the Central Jakarta District Court numbered 159.PidSusTPK.2015.PusatJakartaPN.
Furthermore, the KPK donated land and buildings in Cempaka Putih to the General Election Commission. This asset belongs to the convict of the corruption case, Mochtar Effendi.
"The total area is 825.57 m2 with a total value of Rp. 8.10 billion," said Karyoto during the handover ceremony for assets belonging to corruptors that was broadcast on the Indonesian KPK YouTube, Tuesday, November 9.
Next, the KPK gave land and buildings to the Ministry of Religion in Madiun, East Java. The land belongs to the convict Bambang Irianto whose value reaches Rp6.04 billion.
Finally, the anti-corruption commission handed over land and buildings covering an area of 7,870 square meters of roads in the Mantrijeron Village area, Yogyakarta, which belonged to the convict Anas Urbaningrum. The land was given to the Yogyakarta City Government.
In addition to land and buildings, the KPK also handed over three vehicles with a value of Rp1.29 billion to the Ministry of Finance. He said the vehicle belonged to the convict Fuad Amin Imron.
"With details of the Toyota Land Cruiser, Toyota Nav1, and Toyota Alphard," said Karyoto.
After the grants were symbolically delivered to the five agencies, the KPK hopes that these assets can be utilized optimally and support performance.
"And strengthen inter-institutional relations, especially with the KPK," he concluded.
