Tanjungbalai Police Unload Inex Pill Home Industry, 2 Perpetrators Arrested
MEDAN - The existence of the inex pill home industry was revealed by the Tanjungbalai Police Narcotics Investigation Unit Team, North Sumatra. In the disclosure, the police arrested 2 suspects named Raja Desra Aditia (24) and Ali Akbar alias Mosquito (28).
Tanjungbalai Police Chief AKBP Triyadi when confirmed confirmed the arrest. The arrests, he said, were carried out in 2 different locations.
"The suspects were arrested at their respective residences, namely on Jalan HM Nur, Gang Suka Damai, Pahang Village, Datuk Bandar District. Then on Jalan Palem, Bunga Tanjung Village," said AKBP Triyadi, Tuesday, November 9.
AKBP Triyadi explained that the chronology of the disclosure of the inex pill cottage industry started from information from the public. From that information, the officer then disguised himself as a buyer of 30 inex pills.
"Then it was agreed to meet on the side of Jalan HM Nur. The Tanjung Balai Police Narcotics Unit team went straight to the TKP, when they arrived at the TKP, they immediately found and secured the perpetrators of Raja Desra," said AKBP Triyadi.
From the hands of Raja Desra, the police found a transparent plastic package containing Inex pills with a gross weight of 3.52 grams. In addition, a number of money and cell phones were also secured.
"Then there were 2 pieces of yellow plastic which allegedly contained the type of pill dropped by the man," he said.
AKBP Triyadi said, during interrogation, the suspect Raja said he got the illicit goods from the perpetrator Ali Akbar alias Mosquito.
"Then the team carried out an expansion to his house and found the items in accordance with the evidence of the second crime scene above in the Mosquito room. Then they were taken to the Tanjung Balai Police for further examination," he said.
"From the hands of the suspect Mosquito, several pieces of evidence were secured, one of which was 1 set of white milling tools which contained red medicinal powder weighing 3.24 grams," said AKBP Triyadi.
