Fire Victim In Metland City Turns Out To Be 4 Months Pregnant

TANGERANG – One of the victims who died in the fire incident in Matland City, Cipondoh Tangerang, turned out to be pregnant. The staff of the Publication and Information Law Installation at the Tangerang District Hospital, Lilik, said the victim who died with the initials EV (31) was four months pregnant.

"Yes, it is true that the victim (of the luxury house fire) at our place (Tangerang District Hospital, (EV) is four months pregnant," Lilik told reporters, Tuesday, November 9.

Lilik also said that all of the victims were roasted with more than 90 percent of them.

"Yes, it has been burned, more or less 90 percent, yes almost 100 percent," Lilik said.

Lilik said the bodies of the four victims were only subjected to a post-mortem at the Tangerang District Hospital. And until this news was broadcast, all the victims were being taken by the family.

"The results of the post-mortem have come out of the body. Now the family can take it," he said.

Previously, it was reported that four people died in a fire on Jalan Crisan Asri Blok B, Metland Puri Housing, Cipondoh District, Tangerang City, Tuesday, November 9. The witness, a neighbor of the victim, noticed that the fire had grown bigger at around 04.30 a.m.

The four victims who died are believed to be in the same family, JHN (35), ELV (31), JS (5), and one 60-year-old victim whose identity is not yet known.

The Head of Public Relations of the Tangerang Metro Police, Commissioner Abdul Rachim, explained that the incident was first noticed by the victim's neighbor who heard the sound of falling objects, accompanied by smoke entering the witness's house.

"The first witness left the house and saw that the fire on the left of his house had grown bigger and shouted for help until his other neighbors heard him and informed the head of the RT," Abdul Rohim said via text message to VOI, Tuesday, November 9.

The fire was extinguished with 4 fire engines around 06.00 a.m. After the fire was extinguished, it was discovered that four occupants of one family's house had died.

The cause of the fire is thought to have been caused by an electrical short, but is currently under investigation.

"It is estimated that the fire came from a short circuit, now it is still at the investigation stage," said Abdul.

The victim's body was taken to the Tangerang District Hospital," he concluded.
