Anies' Subordinates Suddenly Came To The KPK Building, Wanting To Hand Over A 600-page Formula E Document
JAKARTA - Head of the DKI Jakarta Inspectorate, Syaefulloh Hidayat and President Director of PT Jakarta Propertindo (Jakpro) Widi Amanasto suddenly headed to the KPK Red and White Building on purpose today.
This subordinate of the Governor of DKI Jakarta, Anies Baswedan, will submit a 600-page document related to the plan for the implementation of Formula E. This is intended to provide support for monitoring corruption prevention (MCP) efforts to the KPK leadership.
The document contains the approval process to the preparations needed by the KPK to obtain detailed and complete information in investigating allegations of corruption in the planned Formula E event.
"We are ready to cooperate fully in providing information and carrying out the Formula E implementation assignment in accordance with the corridors of good corporate governance, risk, and compliance, as mandated by the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government," said Widi in a written statement, Tuesday, November 9.
In submitting this document, Widi and Syaefuloh were accompanied by two KPK leaders for the 2011-2015 period, namely Bambang Widjojanto and Adnan Pandu Praja.
As is known, the polemic related to Formula E in DKI Jakarta is entering a new phase. The KPK admits that it is investigating allegations of corruption from an international racing event that has always been in the public spotlight.
Acting KPK Spokesperson for Enforcement, Ali Fikri, finally opened his voice and admitted that his party was investigating allegations of corruption in the electric car race. He said, currently collecting evidence and information by summoning those suspected of being related.
"KPK is asking for information and clarification from several parties in order to collect data and information or information needed by the investigative team," said Ali.
He said the investigation was a follow-up to reports submitted by the public. Ali said, there are people who feel suspicious about the process of organizing Formula E in DKI Jakarta and report it to the KPK.
"This activity is of course a follow-up to the information submitted by the public regarding the implementation of Formula E in DKI Jakarta to the KPK," he said.
