In The Morning, Jakarta Residents Are Busy With Even Odd Violations, Most Of Them On Jalan DI Panjaitan And Ahmad Yani

JAKARTA - The Traffic Directorate of Polda Metro Jaya recorded 5,600 odd-even policy violations in 13 areas. Thousands of violations that occurred during the two weeks.

"In the past two weeks, 3900 ticket violations have been issued and then 1700 warnings have been issued," said Head of Sub-Directorate for Gakkum Ditlantas Polda Metro Jaya AKBP Argo Wiyono to reporters, Tuesday, November 9.

Based on the data, the most violations occurred in the area of Jalan DI Panjaitan and Jalan Ahmad Yani. However, it has not been detailed about the number of violators in the two areas.

In addition, the most violations occurred in the morning. When compared with the action in the afternoon, the number could be doubled.

"Then the most violations are in the morning. So for example in the afternoon there are 150 violations, then in the morning there can be up to 300 and 500 (violators)," said Argo.

One of the reasons for the many violations in the morning is because people are in a hurry to go to the office and so on. But in the afternoon, people usually wait until the odd-even application time is over.

"In the afternoon, people can still wait for Gage to finish, but in the morning, everyone has to rush to the office, so there are more traffic jams and violations," said Argo.
