19 Brass Health Workers Are Positive Corona

JAKARTA - As many as 19 health workers at the Regional General Hospital (RSUD) 45, Kuningan Regency, West Java were confirmed positive for COVID-19. This was discovered after a mass swab test was carried out.

"Those who have been confirmed positive for COVID-19 are 19 health workers at RSUD 45 Kuningan," said spokesman for the COVID-19 Crisis Center in Kuningan Regency, West Java, Agus Mauludin as reported by Antara, Monday, August 3.

Agus said that the swab test was carried out by the Kuningan Regency Government. Of the 19 health workers who tested positive for COVID-19, 16 of them have been isolated in hospital.

"Meanwhile, the other three did isolate independently," he said.

They consist of doctors, nurses and also cleaners at RSUD 45 Kuningan Regency. Then a mass swab test was carried out on the officers and employees of RSUD 45 Kuningan, to find out whether they were exposed to the new corona virus or not.

"We also immediately carried out a swab test on officers and employees of RSUD 45," he said.

With the addition of 19 positive COVID-19 patients, so far in Kuningan Regency there are 70 residents who have been exposed to the new corona virus.

In details, 27 people were still being treated, 2 died and 41 people had been declared cured and returned to their homes.
