Mayor Of Surabaya Meets 10 Political Parties Ahead Of Stipulation Of The 2022 RAPBD
SURABAYA - Surabaya Mayor Eri Cahyadi met with the leaders of 10 political parties ahead of the determination of the 2022 Regional Revenue and Expenditure Budget Draft (RAPBD) at the mayor's official residence.
"So the APBD that we have agreed on must be able to directly touch the community, and that can reduce poverty. The focus is on education and health services and reducing poverty in this city," said Mayor Eri Cahyadi, quoted by Antara, Monday, November 8.
According to the plan, the Surabaya City DPRD will schedule the determination of the 2022 Surabaya RAPBD to coincide with the commemoration of Heroes' Day on November 10, 2021.
The ten political party leaders who attended were Adi Sutarwijono (Chairman of PDIP Surabaya), Sutadi (Chairman of Gerindra Surabaya), Arif Fathoni (Chairman of Golkar Surabaya), Johari Mustawan (Chairman of PKS Surabaya).
Also present were Mahsun Jayadi (Chairman of PAN Surabaya), Robert Simangunsong (Chairman of NasDem Surabaya), Buchori Imron (Chairman of PPP Surabaya), Musyafak Rouf (Chairman of PKB Surabaya), Tjutjuk Supariono (PSI Surabaya), and Junaedi (Secretary of Democrats in Surabaya).
Mayor Eri Cahyadi explained that this meeting discussed how the 2022 APBD which will be jointly ratified must really benefit the people and must touch the community directly. They hope that there will not only be activities in the beginning, but that it must be continuous.
According to him, one of the things proposed by the leaders of the political parties is that the municipal government's assets should be utilized for the benefit of the community, not become idle assets.
Eri Cahyadi also emphasized that in the future the city government's assets must be ensured for their use for the community because it has been ordered by the President and also the Minister of Finance.
"Alhamdulillah, with all the leaders of political parties who are present today, we have the same vision to mobilize all the assets of the city government for the benefit of the people in the city of Surabaya," he said.
Meanwhile, the Chairperson of the Gerindra Surabaya DPC Sutadi who was present at the meeting said that this meeting the party leaders wanted to ensure that what had been programmed by the Mayor of Surabaya and the ranks of the city government was truly supported by all stakeholders.
In addition, he continued, the party also encourages to maximize existing assets and encourages cooperation with third parties, such as SOEs and others.
"We also conveyed about school zoning and Pak Wali is preparing to improve his program going forward because this is a very sensitive issue regarding education. He thinks that maximizing private schools is one solution," said Sutadi.
The chairman of the DPD II of the Golkar Party in Surabaya, Arif Fathoni, added that the party leaders continued their previous tradition of friendship.
In fact, they also want to convey a message to the community that all stakeholders in this city work together to make various efforts for the greater interest of the local community.
"Because this is ahead of the ratification of the 2022 APBD, all of the chairmen of the political parties who are present today are committed to supporting the ratification of the APBD on November 10. This very sacred process was ratified on Heroes' Day so that it is hoped that the 2022 APBD can be an instrument of economic recovery in this area. ," he said.
Chairman of the Surabaya City PDIP DPC Adi Sutarwijono as well as the Chairman of the Surabaya City DPRD said that this gathering is a very good tradition to bring together various thoughts, especially in order to build the city of Surabaya in the future.
"The Mayor of Surabaya has invited us to speak for the second time. We hope that the Surabaya APDB can be ratified on November 10, precisely on Heroes' Day because this is a special gift for the City of Surabaya," he said.
