Illegal Loan Suspects Fight Through Pretrial, West Java Police: We Will Deal With It According To The SOP
BANDUNG - The Directorate of Special Criminal Investigation (Ditreskrimsus) of the West Java Police said it was ready to face a suspect in an illegal online loan (pinjol) case in Yogyakarta who filed a pretrial lawsuit.
The Director of the Special Criminal Investigation at the West Java Police, Kombes Arief Rachman, said that pretrial has indeed been regulated in the Criminal Procedure Code and is a legal right for the suspects so that there is no problem with the existence of the pretrial lawsuit.
"We will deal with it according to the SOP and we certainly ask for prayers and support from the whole community so that we can complete this case," said Arief in Bandung, as reported by Antara, Monday, November 8.
Even so, he confirmed that the determination of the suspect was based on applicable standards. Because investigators, according to him, determine the suspect in accordance with the evidence obtained.
"Of course it has gone through the process according to the SOP, supported by two strong pieces of evidence," he said. The suspect who filed a pretrial lawsuit, the suspect with the initials AZ. In its release, the West Java Regional Police said that AZ is the HRD of the loan company.
The submission of the pretrial lawsuit has been registered at the Bandung District Court with Case Number 15/Pid.Pra/2021/PN Bdg with the respondent being the Sub-Directorate of V Discrimsus of the West Java Police.
So far, it is known that only a suspect with the initials AZ has filed a pretrial, while the other seven suspects have not filed or not.
