Airlangga Brings Good News, There Are No More Provinces Outside Java-Bali With PPKM Levels 3 And 4: All Levels 2 And 1
JAKARTA - Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto said that the evaluation of the Implementation of Restrictions on Community Activities (PPKM) outside Java and Bali showed encouraging developments. According to him, currently the status of 27 provinces outside Java-Bali is no longer at level 3 and 4.
"Nothing is at level 4 and nothing is at level 3. We are talking about provinces, 22 provinces at level 2 and five provinces at level 1," he said when holding a virtual press conference on Monday, November 8.
Airlangga added, the number of regencies/cities that are now level 1 has become 151 regions. Then, level 3 has 231 regencies/cities and level 1 has 151 regencies/cities.
"There are no more districts/cities at level 4," he said.
Furthermore, active cases as of November 7, 2021 were 5,566 cases or 0.4 percent of the total cases. This figure is down 97.5 percent from the peak of active cases outside Java-Bali as of August 6, 2021 ago.
Then, daily confirmed cases were 159 cases with a declining trend of 99.5 percent from its peak on August 6, 2021. Then, active cases outside Java-Bali contributed 51.42 percent of the total national cases.
"From the island's review, Sumatra's recovery rate is 96.13 percent, the fatality rate is 3.57 percent and the decline is 98 percent," he said.
Meanwhile for Nusa Tenggara, the recovery rate is 97.41 percent, the fatality rate is 2.34 percent and the decline is 98.23 percent. Kalimantan recovery rate is 96.55 percent, fatality rate is 3.17 percent, a decline of 97.9 percent.
Meanwhile, Sulawesi's recovery rate is 97.1 percent, the fatality rate is 2.63 percent, and the decline is 98.16 percent. Maluku Papua has a recovery rate of 96.07 percent, a fatality rate of 1.75 percent, and a decline of 90.26 percent.
