A Father In Jepara Uses Methamphetamine And Keeps It In His Child's Closet

JAKARTA - The Central Java Police's Drug Investigation Directorate has secured 353 grams of methamphetamine from two suspects in Jepara Regency.

Director of Narcotics Investigation of the Central Java Police, Kombes Lutfi Martadian, in a press release in Semarang, Monday, said the disclosure began with public reports about people who often abused the narcotics type methamphetamine.

Armed with this information, he said, officers then investigated and conducted a raid on a house in the Kranji area, Keling District, Jepara Regency.

"The two suspected perpetrators who were in the house were then arrested and searched," he said, Monday, November 8, quoted from Antara.

The two arrested suspects, respectively Abdul Kohar (41) as the owner of the house and his colleague Hafit Ekhwan (33) residents of Krajan, Keling District, Jepara Regency.

During the search, officers found 353 grams of crystal methamphetamine stored in a cupboard in the suspect's child's room.

From the statements of the two suspects, the illicit goods were obtained from a person with the initials B.

For their actions, the two suspects were charged with Law Number 35 of 2009 concerning Narcotics.
