Menpora Appreciates PSSI's Step In Reporting Alleged Score Fixing

MAKASSAR - Minister of Youth and Sports Zainudin Amali appreciated PSSI's move to report alleged match fixing involving former Serang Serang players to the police.

Menpora Zainudin Amali hopes that the PSSI report to the police will soon get results.

"Hopefully the steps taken by PSSI will produce results soon," he said after attending a socialization event for the National Sports Great Design (DBON) at a hotel in Makassar, South Sulawesi, Sunday, November 7.

The Minister of Youth and Sports also believes that the police can solve the case. Including finding out who is the brain behind the unsportsmanlike incident.

"If there is no brain, then it is impossible. Hopefully this will provide a deterrent effect so that it does not happen again in the future," he said.

Zainudin Amali also hopes that Indonesian football, which is getting better and has won the trust of football lovers in the country, will continue to be maintained. "So don't let it be damaged because of one or two people," he said.

Menpora stated that he was ready to discuss PSSI's desire to reactivate the soccer mafia task force to prevent embarrassing incidents in Indonesian football.
