Attorney General ST Burhanuddin Is Hit By Polygamy Issues, This Is The Message From The Chairperson Of Commission III Of The DPR

JAKARTA - Attorney General ST Burhanuddin was hit by the issue of polygamy. This follows a report from a non-governmental organization (NGO) Adhyaksa to the State Civil Apparatus Commission (KASN).

In response to this, Deputy Chairman of Commission III of the DPR Ahmad Sahroni, asked the Attorney General, ST Burahanuddin, to remain focused on improving his performance. According to him, Burhanuddin does not need to pay attention to the issue.

"It is better for the attorney general to focus on improving his already excellent performance. There is no need to worry about such issues," said Sahroni, in his statement in Jakarta, quoted by Antara, Sunday, November 7.

He considered that the allegations of polygamy should not interfere with the performance of the Public Prosecutor's Office under the leadership of Burhanuddin, who is showing brilliant achievements.

According to him, the various brilliant achievements he was referring to include revealing various major corruption cases, digital transformation at the prosecutor's office, to saving state assets of up to trillions of rupiah.

"So it is very reasonable if the attorney general is attacked by many parties, because he does a good job and is fierce," he said. Sahroni asked Burhanuddin to stay focused on working to enforce the law in Indonesia because the higher a person's achievement, the greater the challenges faced.

He quoted a saying that "the taller the tree, the stronger the wind blows", so Burhanuddin should consistently prove performance with achievement.
