Makes Surprising Confessions After Being World Champion, Quartararo: So Lazy To Practice

JAKARTA - Fabio Quartararo confirmed himself as the 2021 MotoGP world champion after locking his points when appearing at the Misano Circuit, last October. However, recently, he made a pretty shocking confession.

The French racer admitted that the current world title he had won made his focus shift. Quartararo calls himself lazy to practice.

Quartararo said, after confirming the world title, of course there was a feeling of joy in him. He admits that he can make celebrations with the team and also has a little free time to spend time with his family.

"It's great to be able to celebrate the championship with the team and spend a few days with the family," said Fabio Quartararo.

After celebrating and relaxing, Quartararo realized he had to refocus on the remaining agenda. However, there are times when he actually feels lazy to practice.

"To refocus, it's actually quite easy because I do what I like. But it was also hard on the first day," said Quartararo.

"On the Tuesday after the Misano race, I felt a little reluctant to train, but I had to keep going," he added.

Despite this recognition, Quartararo, who has already confirmed the title, still has to continue the rest of the race at the Portimao Circuit this weekend. Although he is definitely on the podium, Quartararo still has to focus because he has a target to present a triple crown for Yamaha.
