Papuan People Can Watch Peparnas XVI Opening Ceremony Through Videotron And All TV Channels

JAKARTA - The opening ceremony of the XVI 2021 National Paralympic Week (Peparnas) will be held on Friday, November 5, 2021, starting at 19.00 WIT or 17.00 WIB.

Papuans can watch the event, which carries the theme "Light from East Papua" through videotron.

"So we have also coordinated with government officials at the lower level, namely kelurahan to RT and RW to hold a viewing together for residents so they can witness the Peparnas opening ceremony," said Deputy Chair II of PB Peparnas XVI Papua, Hans Hamadi, as reported by Antara.

According to Hans, in addition to using videotron, the Ministry of Communication and Informatics has also instructed all television channels to broadcast the opening and closing ceremonies of the National National Park Tournament.

"This is done so that there are no crowds at the opening locations and other places," he said.

Especially for invitees and guests attending the Mandala Stadium, Jayapura will be monitored closely by implementing strict health protocols.

The public also cannot freely come to gather at the venue.
