Densus 88 Anti-terror Arrest 4 Suspected Terrorists In Lampung, Now Total 7 People
JAKARTA - Detachment 88 Anti-terror has again arrested four suspected terrorists of the Jamaah Islamiyah (JI) network in Lampung. With this arrest, a total of seven suspected terrorists have been arrested.
"Densus 88 AT at the National Police Headquarters and the Lampung Satgaswil today, Friday, November 5, 2021, have arrested four suspected terrorists," said Head of the Public Relations Division of the National Police Public Relations Division, Kombes Ahmad Ramadhan, to reporters, Friday, November 5.
The suspected terrorists had the initials S (47), F (37), AA (42), and NA (42). They were arrested at different locations.
The suspected terrorist with the initials S (47) was arrested in Karang Anyar Hamlet, South Lampung. He is the head of the Tholiah section or JI's coordinator for the Lampung region.
"S involvement, participated in various Physical Training (Idad) in various places in Lampung and Java. Helped hide some DPO criminal acts of terrorism," said Ramadhan.
Then, the suspected terrorists F (37) and AA (42) were arrested in Purwosari, Lampung. They were apprehended without putting up a fight.
From the preliminary investigation, the suspected terrorist F is the Iqthisod Treasurer of the JI Team II Coordinator for the Lampung region. In fact, he is said to have known about the hiding of fugitives from JI terrorists.
Meanwhile, AA (42) is said to have played an active role in the JI network. Because, he was active in a number of war training in Lampung.
Finally, the suspected terrorist has the initials NA. He is the Treasurer of Ishobah JI in the Lampung region.
"NA is suspected of having co-ordinated the funds held to finance the hidden DPOs," said Ramadhan.
With this arrest, a total of seven suspected terrorists have been arrested. Because, previously there were three suspected terrorists who had been arrested.
They have the initials SU, S, and DRS. From the results of the preliminary examination, they are former officials of the BM ABA charitable foundation. Where, even that foundation is affiliated with the Jamaah Islamiyah group.
