SAR Team Evacuated Ibu Diro's Body That Drowned In Sungai Lingga Banyumas

JAKARTA - The joint search and rescue (SAR) team coordinated by the Cilacap Search and Rescue Office (KPP/Basarnas) evacuated the body of a woman who drowned in the Lingga River, Banyumas Regency, Central Java.

"The body of Bu Diro bin Kartawireja (60) was found by the joint SAR team at Curug Karangbenda, Kotayasa Village, Sub-District, Banyumas, at 08.20 WIB, while conducting a search through the waterway," said Head of the Cilacap Basarnas I Nyoman Sidakarya in Banyumas, Friday. .

When found, he said, the victim's body was stuck in Curung Karangbenda, so the joint SAR team immediately carried out evacuation efforts to land.

After being successfully evacuated from the location of the discovery at 08.50 WIB, Diro's body was immediately returned to the funeral home, Limpakuwus Village, RT 01 RW 03, Subdistrict of Sumbang, Banyumas.

Regarding the chronology of the incident, Nyoman said the victim, who is a person with a mental disability, was known to have a habit of bathing in the river from 09.00 WIB to 15.00 WIB.

However, until 15.00 WIB, the victim had not returned home, so the family immediately looked for him in the river, but the person in question was not found.

Therefore, the family asked for help from local residents to join in looking for the victim's whereabouts around the river.

"After receiving information about the incident, we immediately dispatched a Cilacap Basarnas team to join other SAR potentials to search for and help victims," Nyoman said as quoted by Antara, Friday, November 5.

Furthermore, he said that with the discovery of Diro's body, the search and rescue operation to find and help the missing victims due to drowning in the Lingga River was declared closed and all personnel involved had returned to their respective units.

According to him, the SAR operation involved personnel from the Cilacap Basarnas, Contributing Police, Contributed Koramil, Banyumas Regency BPBD, Purwokerto Brimob SAR, Satpol PP, PMI, Tagana, Limpakuwus Village Government, Orari, RAPI, KSB Donate, CTB Buken, Bagana, Pemuda Pancasila. , IPCI, Banyumas BHV, Celeng Rescue, Peduli Scouts, Dompet Dhuafa, MDMC, Kapak, Linmas, and assisted by the surrounding community.
