KPK Already Holds New Evidence In Puput Tantriana Sari's Gratification And ML Cases
JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) secured evidence in the form of documents and electronic devices from a search in Probolinggo Regency, East Java.
The search was carried out in the investigation into the alleged gratification and money laundering (TPPU) case that ensnared the inactive Probolinggo Regent Puput Tantriana Sari (PTS), Thursday 5 November.
"Evidence was found and secured, including documents and electronic devices suspected of being related to the case," said Acting KPK spokesman Ali Fikri in his statement in Jakarta, Friday, November 6, as quoted from Antara.
The locations that were searched were two places inside the building having the address at Krajan 2, Rangkang, Kraksaan District, Probolinggo Regency.
"The investigative team will then examine the evidence to make sure it has something to do with this case and then immediately confiscate it as a complete case file for the PTS suspect and his friends," said Ali.
The case of gratification and money laundering offences that ensnared Puput is a development of the alleged corruption case in the selection of positions within the Probolinggo Regency Government in 2021.
The KPK has named a total of 22 suspects in the alleged corruption case in the selection of positions.
As recipients, namely Puput, Member of the Indonesian House of Representatives Hasan Aminuddin (HA) who is also Puput's husband and once served as Regent of Probolinggo, Doddy Kurniawan (DK) as State Civil Apparatus (ASN)/Camat Krejengan, Probolinggo Regency, and Muhammad Ridwan (MR) as ASN/Camat Paiton, Probolinggo Regency.
Meanwhile, 18 people who gave bribes were ASN of the Probolinggo Regency Government.
In the construction of the case, the KPK explained that the second simultaneous village head election in the Probolinggo Regency area, which was originally scheduled for 27 December 2021, has been postponed.
As of September 9, 2021, there are 252 village heads from 24 sub-districts in Probolinggo Regency who have finished serving.
To fill the vacancy, the village head will be filled by the acting village head (kades) who come from ASN in the Probolinggo Regency Government and the proposal is made through the sub-district head.
The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) mentions that there are special requirements in which the proposed names of the village heads must obtain the approval of Hasan, who is also Puput's husband, in initial form on the official memorandum of proposing names as a representation of Puput and that the candidates for the village heads are also required to provide and deposit a certain amount of money.
The tariff to become an Acting Village Head in Probolinggo Regency is Rp. 20 million per person plus a tribute in the form of renting the village treasury land at a rate of Rp. 5 million per hectare.
After finding sufficient preliminary evidence, the KPK also named Puput and her husband as suspects in the alleged receipt of gratification and money laundering offences from the development of the job selection case.
