Aceh Satpol PP Securs 2 TikTok Video Content Makers Violating Islamic Shari'a
BANDA ACEH - Banda Aceh Satpol PP and Wilayatul Hisbah (WH) officers have arrested two TikTok video makers who were deemed to have violated Islamic law, values and norms in Aceh.
"Two people have been arrested, their involvement has gone viral on TikTok, very disturbing and not in accordance with Islamic law, values and norms," said Banda Aceh Satpol PP/WH Head Ardiansyah as quoted by Antara, Thursday, November 4.
Ardiansyah said the TikTok video was made in two places, namely the Ulee Lheue area and Taman Sari Banda Aceh, as well as in several other areas.
Ardiansyah said, the two people who were arrested were a man with the initials A and a woman with the initials M, they were suspected of violating Aceh qanun No. 11 of 2002 regarding the implementation of Islamic law.
"Based on the results of their examination, they are suspected of violating the qanun Islamic law and qanun jinayat through TikTok," he said.
Ardiansyah said that both of them would be given intensive coaching and had to report three times a day.
Meanwhile, in this case there is still one person who has not been secured and has been assigned to the wanted list (DPO).
"This will be the last violation, in the future we will take action. We have never played with the enforcement of Islamic law," said Ardiansyah.
Ardiansyah said that his party did not prohibit residents from making TikTok videos, but it must be adjusted to the rules and norms that apply in Aceh.
