SEMARANG - Central Java Police Chief Inspector General Ahmad Luthfi asked the personnel assigned to the Integrated Police Service Center (SPKT) to be good listeners and not patronize residents who come to complain.
"Being a good listener, being friendly, and not being patronizing is the key," said the Kapolda in a press release at the opening of the SPKT Technical Working Meeting for the Central Java Regional Police, in Semarang, quoted by Antara, Thursday, November 4.
According to him, SPKT officers must be able to explain solutions to people who complain in accordance with applicable regulations.
The Central Java Police Chief said that good communication and explanations were psychologically beneficial for the reporter as a consumer.
Therefore, he continued, SPKT personnel must be intelligent police officers who can understand the psychology of the reporter and have a spirit of service.
Inspector General Ahmad Luthfi emphasized that the SPKT is a police storefront in serving the community. According to him, the appearance of the office and its officers should be the main concern.
