The City Of Gibran Rakabuming Still Waiting For Instructions On Vaccination For Children
JAKARTA - The city of Solo is still waiting for instructions from the central government regarding the plan to provide a COVID-19 vaccine for children aged five years and over.
"We are still waiting for instructions, but if the vaccine is ready," said Chief Executive of the Surakarta City COVID-19 Task Force, Ahyani in Solo, Thursday, November 4.
However, he has not been able to confirm what type of vaccine will be given to children aged 5-12 years.
"Because it turns out that not all types of vaccines are friendly to everyone," he said.
However, he said, later all children with this age range will certainly receive vaccine injections.
"The target is all, around 50,000 students from elementary to junior high school age. Anyway, all of them are studying in Solo," he said.
