The Revenue Of Astra Infra, The Toll Manager Where Vanessa Angel Died

JAKARTA - Astra Infra recorded revenue growth from concessions in the first quarter of 2021. Although there will be no increase in traffic volume (VLL) during the 2021 Lebaran homecoming season, traffic conditions on the company's toll roads are believed to be better until the end of the year.

Astra Infra Group CEO Djap Tet Fa in his official statement in May 2021 said the company would add to its business portfolio in 2021. Meanwhile, the toll road concession revenue of a subsidiary of PT Astra International Tbk rose about 8 percent on an annual basis in the first quarter of 2021.

"For this year, Astra Infra believes that traffic will be better than last year," he explained.

Djap said that the revenue for the Kebon Jeruk-Ulujami segment has been recorded as the company's revenue since the beginning of the year. Astra Infra has owned the 7.7 kilometer toll road since November 2020.

For information, in one of the toll roads managed by Astra Infra, namely the Jombang-Mojokerto Toll Road, aka the Jomo Toll Road, a fatal accident occurred which claimed lives. Actress Vanessa Angel aka Vannesa Adzania and husband, Febri Ardiansyah died in an accident on the toll road from Jakarta to Surabaya, East Java.

The cause of the accident is believed to be due to the driver falling asleep.

"Because the driver fell asleep, he swerved to the left and hit the left side of the toll road barrier," said Director of Traffic and Traffic at the East Java Police, Kombes Latif Usman, when confirmed, Thursday, November 4.

Because of the impact, Vannesa and her husband who were sitting on the left side of the car died. Meanwhile, three other passengers were injured.

"So the one who was seriously injured was on the left side, which happened to be her husband sitting in front of Vanesa behind her, so it got worse," said Latif.

According to Latif, the detailed location of this accident is in KM. 673+300/ A of the Jomo toll road (Jombang-Mojokoerto Toll Road).
