Miss Waria Banten 2021-2022 Leaflet Circulating, Two People Have Been Asked For Information

JAKARTA - Circulating on social media brochures containing the Miss Waria Banten 2021-2022 performance at the Catur Building, Ciruas District, Serang Regency. The circular has been busy since Wednesday, November 3, 2021.

In the leaflet it is stated that the Miss Waria Banten 2021-2022 election event will be enlivened by a number of artists and a fashion show of 7 macho boys. The schedule of the event is on Friday 19 November 2021 at 16.30 WIB.

The event was held to compete for trophies, beautiful crowns, sashes and robes, Miss Waria Banten scepter, gifts from sponsors, and cash.

The brochure also lists the contact persons to register for the Miss Waria Banten event, namely Nyai Mas Ratu, Mami Jeni and Warni along with their contact numbers.

Still in the leaflet, it was explained that the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners in the event will be included in the national Miss Waria event in Jakarta and will take part in a photo shoot for the 2022 calendar. The brochure is also equipped with a registration form.

Meanwhile, the Head of Public Relations of the Banten Police, Shinto Silitonga, clarified that the leaflets were untrue or hoaxes.

"According to the results of the clarification carried out by the Serang Police, we confirm that the information is a hoax, not true. And we also clarified the 3 people in the leaflet, 2 of which the telephone numbers on the leaflet were correct. But they admitted that they were disturbed by the information in question, and they never knew what happened. Their names were written on the sheet. Then related to the owner of the building, it has also been clarified and stated that there was never a certain person or time for the said activity. So we made sure it was a hoax, not true.” Shinto explained when contacted by VOI, Thursday, November 4.
