Silver Man In Tulungagung Who Showed Vital Tool On Street Arrested
TULUNGAGUNG - The Civil Service Police Unit of Tulungagung Regency, East Java, arrested two silver people who were suspected of harassing road users by swearing and showing their genitals to road users.
"We arrested these two silver people after there were complaints from the public who were worried about their whereabouts," said Tulungagung Satpol PP Trantibum Head Yulius Rama Isworo, quoted by Antara, Wednesday, November 3.
The term "silver man" is used to identify the actions of several young adults who paint almost their entire body with silver, and then perform a little bit of attraction by playing pantomime movements for the purpose of begging for money from road users.
The number of silver people in Tulungagung is quite a lot, especially at several intersections where there are traffic lights. Starting from the intersection of Gleduk, Kemuning and at the Simpang Empat Tamanan.
"Our target is to catch them, but previously we patrolled 3-4 times a day," he said.
They have been in action for a long time. The perpetrators of these silver men have been arrested by Satpol PP officers for several times, but then act again.
This silver man has the initials DF (21), a resident of Bago Village, Tulungagung City District. While the other is RA (16), a resident of Kenjeran District, Surabaya City.
One of the arrested silver men, RA, is alleged to have sexually harassed road users.
When he was not given money, RA issued a curse and played his penis in front of road users on Sunday, October 31.
"We will deepen it again. But from the photo evidence, the statement on Sunday (31/10), is identical to him," he said
RA is still listed as a student at one of the Islamic boarding schools (ponpes) in Trenggalek. RA then fled from the boarding school and chose to live on the streets.
"Today, we caught him not using a patrol vehicle," he also said.
The problem is, even though there are allegations of sexual harassment, this silver man cannot be criminally processed. This is because there are no victims who have reported the alleged crime of sexual harassment.
Both are now required to be absent every day at the Tulungagung Satpol PP office for a full month.
