Four Satpol PP And 1 Student Injured Due To Chaotic Demonstration In West Aceh
MEULABOH - Four members of the West Aceh District Civil Service Police Unit and one student were reported injured and injured, after a riot occurred during a demonstration in front of the Office of Women's Empowerment for Child Protection.
Head of the Civil Service and Wilayatul Hisbah Police Units, West Aceh Regency, Dodi Bima Saputra, said that four of its members were injured and injured after a riot occurred while securing the action.
"Four of our members were injured after the demonstrators suddenly tried to break through the security blockade that we had guarded according to the limits and conditions," said Dodi in Meulaboh, quoted by Antara, Wednesday, November 3.
He detailed that of the four officers who were injured and injured, one of them was a female personnel.
"Our members were injured as a result of being kicked and punched by protesters," said Dodi.
Dodi Bima Saputra said the security for the demonstration was carried out with police officers from the West Aceh Police.
He also denied that there was a student who was injured as a result of being hit by officers, but the injured student was allegedly injured after pushing each other with officers during the riots.
"There was one member of the demonstrators who was injured and fell down because their friends pulled their own friend and fell to the floor," he said.
Dodi Bima Saputra also explained that based on intelligence reports in the field, his party suspected that the protesters had planned to make a fuss during the demonstration in front of the local government building.
Sandy Mulyadi, a student who was injured during the riot, said he was injured in the left side of his head, after being hit by a security guard's bat. He also admitted to having bruises on his body after being hit.
"So, earlier also had a post-mortem at the hospital," he said.
He admitted that he still felt pain after he fell and was hit during the riot. Even a number of his other colleagues, such as Alfarabi Harley, Yandi Masfizan, Rosa Amelia, were also hit during the riot.
