The National Police Confirms The Case Of Alleged Obscenity Of 3 Children In East Luwu Is Still Investigating
JAKARTA - The East Luwu Police, assisted by the Ditkrimum Polda of South Sulawesi, are still investigating the alleged molestation of three children allegedly committed by their biological father.
"There has been communication between the investigator and the victim's mother, we will inform you about the progress," said Head of the Public Information Section (Kabag Penum) of the Public Relations Division of the National Police, Kombes Ahmad Ramadhan, quoted by Antara, Wednesday, November 3.
Ramadhan said that as a follow-up to the model A police report made by Polri investigators, investigators are currently requesting information from the victim's mother, from the victim's children, and statements from examining doctors and experts.
This inquiry is still in process. And the report is still in the investigation stage, because there is not enough preliminary evidence to be escalated to an investigation.
"So we are still asking for information from the victim's mother, from children who are considered victims, information from the examining doctor, and experts. Still in the process," explained Ramadhan.
The investigation into the alleged child molestation case in East Luwu, said Ramadhan, is still being handled by the East Luwu Police, assisted by the Ditkrimum Polda of South Sulawesi.
There is also an investigation using the model A police report using a different time or tempo from the initial criminal report, which was October 2019.
This investigation by the police took the date of October 25-31 2019, where the victim's mother carried out a medical examination of her child and found that the results of the examination were different from the results of the post-mortem on October 19 and 24, 2019.
"There is no difference in the results of the post-mortem. Because the difference between the first post-mortem and October 24, 2019, the results are the same. The results of the examination from the hospital are not the same but at a different time. But the two post-mortem results are the same. We wait. The process continues and we will be transparent to convey the results of the investigation or investigation," explained Ramadhan.
Cases of alleged sexual abuse of three minors allegedly committed by their biological fathers have gone viral on social media, leading to the hashtag #percumalaporpolisi. The incident was reported in October 2019 and investigators stopped the investigation because the results of the trial did not find sufficient preliminary evidence.
