To KSP Moeldoko, Vice President Ma'ruf Messages That Communication Between The Government And The Papuan Community Does Not Break Up
JAKARTA - Vice President Ma'ruf Amin wants communication between the government and the Papuan people to never end. The goal is that the acceleration of development and prosperity in the Land of Papua can be realized.
This was conveyed directly by the Vice President Ma'ruf to the Presidential Chief of Staff (KSP) Moeldoko at the vice president's official residence in Jakarta today.
"The point is, how to communicate with the Papuan people, don't cut off communication. The vice president wants that, there is good communication," said spokesman for the vice president Masduki Baidlowi in Jakarta as reported by Antara, Wednesday, November 3.
During the meeting, Moeldoko reported to the Vice President that his party had established communication with a number of young Papuan people with various backgrounds.
"Moeldoko once called a number of young Papuan creatives who are able to be creative and develop their talents that are beneficial for the Papuan people," added Masduki.
KSP also asked for opinions and input from various groups of young people related to efforts to prosper and develop the Land of Papua.
"Including the perspective for resolving the Papua problem, in the context of the welfare of the Papuan people what it looks like. And all of this will be followed up with coordination between KSP and Kasetwapres (Head of the Vice Presidential Secretariat)," he explained.
In the one hour meeting, Moeldoko also conveyed ideas for accelerating development and the welfare of the Papuan people.
Masduki said Vice President Ma'ruf accepted the idea and asked for it to be implemented immediately.
"Many ideas and steps related to how the process of improving the welfare of the Papuan people came from Mr. Moeldoko. The Vice President welcomes these ideas and hopes that they will be followed up," he said.
