Four Urban Villages In Sleman DIY Return To The COVID-19 Red Zone
SLEMAN - Four urban villages in Sleman Regency, Yogyakarta Special Region are again included in the COVID-19 red zone based on the zoning map of the Sleman Health Office. Previously there was only one kelurahan that was in the red zone.
"Previously, on the COVID-19 zoning map of the Sleman Health Service as of October 17, there was only one kelurahan that had a red zone, namely Caturtunggal Village, Depok. Currently, based on the latest zoning map, there are five kelurahan that are red zoned," said a spokesperson for the Sleman COVID-19 Task Force. Shavitri Nurmaladewi was quoted by Antara, Wednesday, November 3.
According to him, based on the COVID-19 zoning map of the Sleman Health Office as of October 31, out of 86 sub-districts in Sleman Regency, four villages were in the red zone or 4.7 percent.
"The villages are Caturtunggal, Mororejo, Sinduharjo, and Umbulharjo," he said.
As for the COVID-19 orange zone, there are six urban villages or 6.9 percent, 41 urban villages or 47.7 percent of the yellow zone and 35 urban villages or 40.7 percent of the green zone.
"So in two weeks there will be an addition of three red zone urban villages, after previously only Caturtunggal, now it has increased to four villages, after Mororejo, Sinduharjo and Umbulharjo villages are also red zones," he said.
Shavitri said, for the development of daily COVID-19 cases in Sleman, today, Wednesday, November 3, there were 37 additional positive confirmed cases.
"Meanwhile, the recovered cases increased by 13 cases, and there were no cases of patients dying," he said.
In the last few days, daily confirmed cases of positive COVID-19 in Sleman have shown an increasing number.
"On October 29, there were 13 additional confirmed cases, then on October 30 nine cases, October 31 eight cases, November 1 three cases, November 2 eight cases and today it rose quite high 37 cases," he said.
