So A Suspect, Rachel Vennya Is Not Arrested

JAKARTA - Celebrity Rachel Vennya has been named a suspect in the case of escaping quarantine from Wisma Atlet Pademangan. Rachel Vennya was not arrested.

"He was not detained," said the Head of Public Relations of the Metro Jaya Police, Kombes Yusri Yunus, to reporters, Wednesday, November 3.

In the case of escaping quarantine, Rachel Vennya was charged with Law Number 6/2018 concerning Health Quarantine. The maximum penalty is one year in prison.

Referring to the Criminal Procedure Code (KUHAP), detention can be carried out against a suspect of a crime who is threatened with imprisonment of 5 years or more.

"The threat is 1 year, so they are not detained," said Yusri.

Rachel Vennya is named a suspect along with Salim Nauderer and Maulida who are Rachel Vennya's lovers and managers. Another suspect has the initials RFD, a protocol officer at Soekarno-Hatta Airport.
