COVID-19 Update As Of November 3: 801 New Cases From Examination Of 253,123 Specimens
JAKARTA - The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) released the latest additional positive cases of COVID-19 as of today. A total of 253,123 specimens were examined with the result that there were 801 new positive cases of COVID-19.
"The total accumulation of positive cases since COVID-19 was discovered in Indonesia has reached 4,246,174 people and 11,592 active cases," said Ministry of Health data, Tuesday, November 3.
Today's recovered cases increased by 814 cases, bringing the total to 4,091,101 people recovered. Then, the positive confirmed cases who died increased by 24 people and a total of 143,481 people.
The province with the most new cases was in West Java with 175 cases and a total of 706.25 cases. Followed by DKI Jakarta with 132 new cases with a total of 861,832 cases. DI Yogyakarta has 89 new cases and a total of 155,980 cases. Then, Central Java with 80 new cases and a total of 485,320 cases.
The province with the most recovered cases today belongs to DKI Jakarta with an additional 152 recovered cases. Followed by West Sumatra with an additional 116 recovered cases, Central Java with an additional 79 recovered cases, and East Java with an additional 72 recovered cases.
There are 2 provinces that reported no new cases today, namely Gorontalo and Maluku. In addition, the number of specimens that have been examined using RT-PCR, TCM, and antigens reached 47,438,975.
"Positive results per number of people examined or the positivity rate of people this week is 0.40 percent," he wrote.
The number of people suspected of contracting COVID-19 or currently categorized as suspected cases is 7,500 people. Currently, 34 provinces have had cases of COVID-19.
To date, 121,975,753 people have received the first dose of COVID-19 vaccination and 75,829,190 people have received the second dose of vaccination. While the third dose of vaccination was 1,147,124. Meanwhile, the target for vaccination in Indonesia is 208,265,720 people.
