Gibran Rakabuming: Special Children's Isoter Involves Parents As Mentors
JAKARTA - The Surakarta City Government, Central Java stated that the centralized isolation for children that had been prepared by the local government would involve parents as companions.
"The isoters for children have been prepared, it's up to the parents to allow the children to be isolated or not, that's all," said Surakarta Mayor Gibran Rakabuming Raka in Solo, Wednesday.
However, he admitted that there were some parents and children who refused to undergo centralized isolation.
"It's not just isoter, many people refuse to be swabbed," he said.
However, he ensured that in this centralized isolation, parents would be placed in the same room as their children.
"There will be a special 'treatment' (handling) later. The important thing is that parents allow it, instead of being locked up in one house, it's better to be in isolation so that the parents can continue to work," he said.
He ensured that the surveillance program or observation from the Ministry of Health in the form of random swab tests carried out in schools would be carried out again this month.
"We will continue to carry out surveillance, we will do it again in different schools, later in November from the Ministry of Health as well. The number (cases, ed.) will definitely increase but we make sure it is controlled. without symptoms)," he said.
