Good News For Bogor Residents, Bank Mandiri Electronic Money Can Now Be Used To Pay City Bus Fares
JAKARTA - PT Bank Mandiri Tbk officially announced today that E-Money electronic money has now been integrated with the city bus cashless payment system in Bogor City, West Java.
Bank Mandiri SVP Transaction Banking Retail Sales, Thomas Wahyudi, said that his party hopes this service can increase the convenience and interest of the people of Bogor in using transportation.
"We want to provide convenience and ease of transportation to the public based on non-cash payments," he said in an official statement, Tuesday, November 2.
Thomas added that this initiative is a realization of Bank Mandiri's vision to become the preferred financial partner based on the excellence of digital banking services.
“This initiative is simple but very effective because this E-Money card is multifunctional. This means that there will be many benefits that can be felt by cardholders. We want to continue to contribute to the increase in transactions on the E-Money channel," he said.
For information, Bank Mandiri's electronic money will support BIS KITA services in Bogor City as one of the synergies with government institutions, namely the Jabodetabek Transportation Management Agency (BPTJ).
Currently, E-Money can be used for toll payments, parking payments, transportation payments such as Commuterline, MRT, LRT, Transjakarta, Transjogja, Batik Solo Trans, payments at gas stations, shopping at retail stores such as Indomaret, Alfamart, as well as amusement rides and restaurants. .
E-Money is also said to be able to connect with the Livin' by Mandiri digital banking application, Android and IOS mobile operations, as well as ATM machines.
For information, this state-owned bank claims that the company has managed to spread 25 million cards to be used throughout Indonesia.
Meanwhile, until the end of September 2021, the frequency of using E-Money was 697 million transactions, reaching more than Rp. 11.8 trillion.
