JAKARTA - The Satpol PP and Wilayatul Hisbah (WH) officers of Banda Aceh City together with the Social Service continue to take steps to control street children who roam and disturb residents in the capital city of Aceh Province. "Earlier we expelled them (street children) from Banda Aceh, and last night We have also secured something to the Social Service shelter," said Head of Trantibum Satpol PP Banda Aceh Evendi A Latif, in Banda Aceh, reported by Antara, Tuesday, November 2. Evendi said they found dozens of street children in the port area of Ulee Lheue, when they were about to leave for Sabang. "They wanted to go to Sabang, then we didn't allow them and we kicked them out of Banda Aceh," he said.
Evendi did not count the exact number of the group of street children, but it is estimated that there are dozens of people. The Satpol PP also confirmed that they were not residents of Banda Aceh, but came from outside the area. Evendi said, in addition to the dozens of street children who were expelled today, last night officers also secured seven Vespa street children, and then they were entrusted to the Banda Aceh social service shelter. "We work together with the Social Service Office to always carry out activities to prevent street children from coming from outside," he said. Evendi emphasized that in order to maintain public order, his party together with the social service held patrols and surveillance throughout the city at all times. "Every night we also carry out patrols, this is to maintain public order from things that disturb the community," said Evendi.
