There Is Nothing Surprising About The 2019-2024 NasDem Management

JAKARTA - Surya Paloh is again entrusted with being the General Chair of the NasDem Party, for the 2019-2024 period. The decision was taken by acclamation after going through a series of Nasdem Congress II, which took place from 8-11 November 2019.

It was Lestari Moerdijat, Member of the NasDem High Council who announced the decisions and stipulations for the 2019-2024 period. After receiving the mandate, Surya Paloh immediately announced the management structure of the Nasdem DPP which he was immediately inaugurated.

"As a committee member, of course with your permission, I will appoint myself and everyone (Nasdem committee for the 2019-2024 period)," said Paloh at the JIEXPO Building, Kemayoran, Central Jakarta, Monday, November 11.

The names in the NasDem management are also not too surprising. Johnny G Plate is again entrusted with being the Secretary General (Sekjen) of NasDem for the second time. Not only that, Paloh also appointed Ahmad Ali as his deputy.

"The general chairman seems difficult to part with this human, give applause to Jhonny G Plate. Our Minister of Communication and Information is the Secretary General," said Paloh jokingly.

Furthermore, the position of general treasurer was filled by Ahmad Sahroni. Ahmad Sahroni is a member of Commission III DPR RI. He is also often nicknamed Crazy Rich Tanjung Priok.

"The general treasurer is not just a note taker, so the needs of the DPW, DPD, DPC, are the affairs of the general treasurer. We entrust it to a young person named Ahmad Sahroni," said Paloh.

Nasdem is also preparing the board that will set the winning strategy for the 2024 General Election from now on. The position of Chairman of the Nasdem Election Winning Body (Bappilu) is filled by Paloh's own son, namely Prananda Surya Paloh.

"The head of Bappilu determines the target to deliver the party's hopes of winning the election in 2024. We believe in this tough task as Prananda Surya Paloh," he said.
