KPK Investigates 2 ASN Kemenhub Related to Alleged Bribery of DJKA involving Sudewo

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) examined two state civil servants (ASN) at the Ministry of Transportation (Kemenhub) today.

The examination was carried out in connection with the alleged bribery of the railway line development project of the Director General of Railways (DJKA) of the Ministry of Transportation (Kemenhub) for East Java.

"The examination was carried out at the Semarang Prison," said KPK spokesperson Budi Prasetyo to reporters through his written statement, Thursday, February 12.

The two witnesses examined were Dheky Martin and Bernard Hasibuan. Both are known to now have the status of prisoners.

The two testified to complete the case file belonging to Sudewo as a former member of Commission V of the House of Representatives of the Republic of Indonesia for the period 2020-2024.

Sudewo is known to be a suspect in the DJKA bribery case after being caught in a hand-in-hand operation (OTT) while serving as the Regent of Pati. He is suspected of extortion with his subordinates regarding the filling of village devices.

As previously reported, the KPK had previously examined Sudewo in the DJKA bribery case on September 22, 2025. He was questioned about the arrangement of the auction to the alleged provision of project fees for the construction of a railway line at the Directorate General of Railways (DJKA) of the Ministry of Transportation (Kemenhub).

Meanwhile, Sudewo, after being examined by investigators, chose to be stingy. The Gerindra Party politician underwent an examination from 09.45 WIB to 15.03 WIB at the KPK Red and White building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta.

"I was asked for information regarding the train," Sudewo told reporters at the location.

Sudewo also claimed that there was no refund after being examined by the KPK. However, this explanation was delivered incompletely because the aides accompanying him actually hindered the work of reporters at the location.
