The compensation was handed over directly by the Head of the Traffic Corps (Kakorlantas) of the National Police Inspector General Pol. Aan Suhanan at the Karawang Hospital.

"We were entrusted with a message from the National Police Chief, first to express our deep condolences for the death of Ananda Nazwa. He also left his love to the family of the deceased," said Inspector General Pol. Aan in his statement in Jakarta, Wednesday.

Nazwa Devira is one of 12 victims who died in a series of accidents at KM 50, Monday (8/4) morning. Nazwa's body has been identified and has been handed over to the family, Tuesday (9/4).

According to Rivan, the provision of this compensation can be done without having to identify the perpetrators or traffic violators.

Even so, the police are still identifying victims and the cause of the accident on the contraflow route KM 58 from the direction of Jakarta.

In addition, Kakorlantas also did not dismiss if necessary to process the crime scene (TKP) in order to deepen the identity of the victim and trace further accidents.

"The crime scene analysis could be carried out again as long as the data from this crime scene is still lacking. So, it is very possible to process the follow-up crime scene," said Inspector General Aan.

All victims of the deadly accident at KM 58 have been identified. Currently, 11 bodies have been transferred from the Karawang Hospital to the Kramat Jati Police Hospital, East Jakarta, to make it easier for families to pick up and handle bodies for burial.
