List 11 Highest Tariff Capital Parking Locations Progressive For Non-Emissions Test Vehicles

JAKARTA - The DKI Provincial Government has added the six highest tariff parking locations, which are Rp7,500 per hour to be progressive. The target is motorized vehicles that do not pass and have not yet tested emissions.

"Currently, there are an additional six parking locations, so now there are eleven parking locations that have been set with a disincentive tariff," said Head of the DKI Transportation Agency, Syafrin Liputo, in Jakarta, Friday, February 3.

For cars that pass the emission test, the normal parking rate is valid progressively, which is IDR 5,000 per hour.

Eleven parking locations belong to the DKI Provincial Government, namely:1. IRTI Monas Parking Center, Central Jakarta2. Parking Parking Area Blok M, South Jakarta3. Samsat Parking Center, West Jakarta4. Mayestik Market Environment, South Jakarta,5. Plaza Intercon, West Jakarta6. Park and Ride Kalideres, West Jakarta, 7. Parking Building Pasar Baru Palace, Central Jakarta8. Park Menteng Parking Building, Central Jakarta9. Park and Ride Lebak Bulus, South Jakarta,10. Parking Parking Center Ismail Marzuki, Jakarta11. Park and Ride Terminal Kampung Rambutan, East Jakarta.

The effort was made to control traffic in accordance with DKI Jakarta Governor Regulation (Pergub) Number 66 of 2020 concerning Motor Vehicle Exhaust Emission Tests.

Vehicles that have passed the emission test, he said, the police number data was recorded on the system so that when the vehicle enters the parking location it will be detected that the vehicle has passed or has not passed or has not even tested emissions.

"This disincentive policy not only deals with transportation issues, but also supports efforts to protect Jakarta from pollution," said Syafrin.

Syafrin explained that the handling of transportation problems in Jakarta was divided and arranged into four priorities, namely pedestrians, public transportation, environmentally friendly vehicles and personnel incentives for private vehicles.

The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government is trying to handle this transportation issue comprehensively and sustainably. "We are synergizing with all parties because the transportation problem in Jakarta is very complex," he said.
