BOGOR - The Bogor City Health Service (Dinkes), West Java, reported that active positive cases in Bogor City continued to decline in the third week of January 2023, from 39 cases or 0.06 percent to 20 cases or 0.03 percent, and it is expected to be even lower.

The secretary of the Bogor City Health Service, Erna Nuraena, when confirmed in Bogor City, said that efforts to reduce cases continued through vaccinations held in various shopping centers and Community Health Centers.

"For the addition of positive cases in the last two weeks, as of Tuesday, January 24, 18 cases were recorded, the number of recovered patients has increased to 35 people. Meanwhile, there have been zero deaths," said Erna as reported by ANTARA, Wednesday, January 25.

Erna explained that of the number of recovered patients, there was an increase of 2 percent, from 99.12 percent to 99.14 percent. This figure, she said, needs to be maintained, even increased with public awareness to carry out the COVID-19 vaccination.

In addition to public awareness, the Bogor Health Service also hopes that the delivery of vaccine stocks will return to the routine so that vaccine centers can continue to be open to the public.

As of Tuesday 24 January, the remaining 82 vials of the COVID-19 vaccine for the fourth vaccination (second booster dose).

According to Erna, the plan is for the central government through the Government of West Java to immediately send as many as 1,000 vials of the COVID-19 vaccine.

"Our vaccine stock continues to be counted, it is predicted to run out for today's service. We are waiting for the next dropping from the province (West Java)," said Erna.

Erna appealed to residents who have not carried out complete vaccinations by the second booster vaccine or fourth vaccine to immediately visit the COVID-19 vaccination center.
