The Car Has Been Hit, The Driver Also Beats: The Case Of A Viral Indonesian Navy Person In Social Media Transferred To POM AL

JAKARTA - A man suspected of being a member of the TNI was involved in persecuting a car driver in the Senen Station area, Central Jakarta, Sunday, August 7, yesterday.

According to information compiled, the man driving the car with the TNI AL service plate 6404-05 hit a driver after hitting his car. As a result of the incident, the victim with the initials JA suffered a beating in the neck.

Senen Police Chief Commissioner Resa Fiardi confirmed a dispute between two car drivers in the Pasar Senen Station area.

"The JA victim reported to the Senen Police, then we directed them to the Central Jakarta Metro Police," said Commissioner Resa when confirmed, Monday, August 8.

Resa explained that the chronology of the beatings began with a member of the TNI who grazed another driver's car. The TNI person immediately got out of the car and beat JA.

"JA, a resident of Kebon Jeruk, was hit in the neck. We transferred this case to the Resort Police, then the Police handed it over to the Navy POM," he said.

Previously, a viral video circulated on social media that depicted one of the car drivers claiming to be beaten by TNI personnel at Pasar Senen Station.

"There he punched me, he suddenly hit my car, then he hit me. This is the TNI license plate," said the driver who made a video of the incident.
