JAMBI - The peak of the homecoming flow on the western part of the Sumatran highway (Jalinsum), precisely in Batanghari Regency, Jambi Province, occurred at night.

Currently, the backflow is still dominated by vehicles from outside the island of Sumatra, such as from Jakarta, Bandung, Bogor and other areas. On the return flow is more dominated by vehicles from the direction of West Sumatra Province to South Sumatra.

On D+7, it is estimated that inter-district and city travelers will be dominated by inter-regencies and cities within Jambi Province. Due to the shorter distance traveled and relatively faster travel time. In addition, the alternative route from Batanghari Regency to Jambi City via Jalan NES is still the choice of travelers. This road was chosen because of its faster travel distance.

Meanwhile, on the return flow, there were no travelers who had been vaccinated against COVID-19 at the homecoming service post. This is because travelers are more likely to vaccinate on their homecoming trips.
