Fadli Zon Asks The Attorney General To Open The Cooking Oil Mafia Chain, Trace The Traces Until The Minister

JAKARTA - Member of the Gerindra faction of the DPR RI, Fadli Zon, appreciates the steps taken by Attorney General ST Burhanuddin for the arrest of individuals involved in public unrest related to cooking oil. It is known, the Attorney General's Office has named the Director General of Foreign Trade of the Ministry of Trade, Indrasari Wisnu Wardhana (IWW) as a suspect in the cooking oil mafia case. Fadli assessed, the AGO also needs to comb out irregularities in other commodities that have been making it difficult for the community. "It should be dismantled like that, we see that these commodities have a lot of mafias, many cartels, which make it difficult for the people," said Fadli at the Parliament Complex, Thursday, April 21.

"Even though these basic necessities are a matter of the livelihood of many people, our daily problems, there should be a guarantee from the state from the government, the price must be maintained," he continued.

With the price of cooking oil above the HET, the Gerindra Deputy Commissioner suspects that there are still many people who enjoy and take advantage of the situation for the benefit of themselves and their group. "The price of cooking oil is still above Rp. 25 thousand, Rp. Strict action must be taken," said Fadli.

The West Java electoral district legislator also asked the AGO to open the chain of fried noodles mafia. If the same class as the Director General of the Ministry of Trade plays, said Fadli, it is possible that his superiors will also be involved. "We appreciate the steps taken by the attorney general and it is better to open the chain, the cooking oil mafia chain. Because the minister himself called it that way, yes. It is also investigated by the parties involved, whether it reached the director general or I don't know if the minister was also involved," concluded Fadli.
