Circle To Search Will Be Added To Tecno And Xiaomi 14T Phones

JAKARTA When it was first launched earlier this year, Circle to Search was an exclusive feature for the Samsung Galaxy S24 Series. Shortly after, this Google-made feature was expanded to the Pixel 8 and 8 Pro.

This feature has also been extended to more device models, from the latest foldable phones to older versions of phones and tablets. However, this feature is still limited to two brands, namely Samsung and Google-made devices.

In the near future, this limit will disappear as Google will bring its features to other Android-based phones. Reportedly, companies such as Tecno and Xiaomi will adopt Circle to Search on their devices.

In Android Central's report, Tecno will launch Circle to Search on its new foldable phone, namely the Tecno Phantom V Fold 2. Reportedly, this feature will be available in October, "when Google plans to expand (its features to more phones)."

Meanwhile, another phone that will get this feature is Xiaomi 14T. The device that will be launched at the end of September is rumored to be the first phone, apart from Samsung and Google products, to get Circle to Search.

Xiaomi 14T will be a device with Artificial Intelligence (AI) support and Circle to Search is just one of the big features of the device. There is not much information about what AI features the company will launch in the 14T series.

It seems that the launch of Circle to Search is still limited to the latest Android devices. Although news of this expansion has just emerged on Xiaomi and Tecno, other Android-based phones may adopt this feature in the future.
