JAKARTA - Google added a new feature of images and videos to the company's Search Creative Experience (SGE).
SGE is an early program or experiment of Google's business unit Search Labs. Designed to help users complete some work from Search, so they can understand a topic more quickly.
This time, Google brings images to SGE that is more AI-powered, where users can browse something like the smallest predatory bird, then Search will quickly refer to what the bird looks like and get relevant information from the web.
As for the new video feature launched next week, which is useful for seeing things move, such as demonstrations of yoga poses or how to remove stains from marble, as quoted from the Google page, Thursday, August 3.
The company also made a big improvement to SGE including a faster response from time to time, "Recently we made a big improvement that reduces the half of the time it takes to make AI efforts," Google said.
SGE is made a starting point for exploring useful information on the web, with links to search results included alongside each AI summary.
To help users better understand how new information is from this webpage, Google added a publication date to the link.
"And we continue to experiment in new ways that are easier for people to find web pages that support information in AI summary," Google said.
However, as advertising is Google's main business, it will continue to appear in special ads on all search pages.
Users can find and test the new experiment starting today at Search Labs for Google Android and iOS apps, or on the Chrome desktop.
