Halal Bihalal APJATEL: Support Digitalization Of MSMEs By Development Of Telecommunication Networks

JAKARTA - The Telecommunication Network Operators Association (APJATEL) held the Halal Bihalal Idul Fitri 1444 Hijri with the theme Build Togetherness and Strengthen Gathering on Wednesday, May 10 in Jakarta.

In addition to establishing ties, the event, which was held at Thamrin 10 Food & Creative Park, also aims to build synergies to strengthen APJATEL's commitment to support MSME growth in Indonesia

Not only motivated by the spirit of friendship after the holy month of Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr, the theme of this year's APJATEL Halal Bihalal activity is in line with the commitment and enthusiasm of all members to continue to generate MSME growth in Indonesia.

In accordance with the Indonesian government's MSME Digitization program, MSME growth is certainly in line with the development of digital technology that requires support and various parties, including network providers and telecommunications services.

APJATEL's commitment to supporting Digital Transformation and Digitalization of MSMEs has become the main agenda that was also conveyed at the APJATEL National Working Meeting in November 2022.

"This year's Halal Bihalal APJATEL event we held specifically to build a sense of togetherness and also to strengthen the sense of friendship between all of our members and also media colleagues who were present today. As well as a good moment to reaffirm APJATEL's mission and commitment to support the growth of MSMEs in Indonesia, especially in terms of digital and telecommunications networks," said Jerry Mangasas Swandy, Chairman of APJATEL in his remarks.

As one of the main factors driving the Indonesian economy, significant MSME growth is an important key. In the digital era like today, the MSME digitization program is the main focus. Therefore, one of the things that APJATEL focuses on is the development of telecommunication networks in more areas in Indonesia.

In its realization, APJATEL continues to build synergies and collaborate with various parties including the central and regional governments, business actors, related institutions and institutions and of course entrepreneurs in the telecommunications sector fixed broadband and fiber optics realizing the MSME Digitalization program in Indonesia.

Currently, only 30 percent of Indonesia's territory has been covered by an optical fiber network. This is then a motivation for APJATEL to continue to take steps to accelerate network expansion in more regions in Indonesia.
